There really isn't anything on the hardware front that they CAN remove. USBs are needed for almost any peripheral, all the plugs on the back are needed to ensure you can actually see the PS3 on your TV, wi fi would be needed for remote play like you say, ethernet plug is obviously needed, hard disk; needed...
I can't imagine them removing any software as the only stuff left after BC was removed is little apps that don't really make much of a difference or are integral to PS3 game...

A bit of Stealth Deathmatch on this map is great. It's much tenser because you can hear foot steps really close but not be able to see them due to the blizzard.

I'm more than happy with the technology behind it and all and what it could mean for games in the future buy seriously... We're talking about a virtual 12 year old... Sorry, but how can anyone defend Valve over this? They make great games, sure. I really like TF2 and can see why people like Half Life, even if I didn't enjoy it as much as some. Portal was a lot of fun as well.

Yay! I absolutely loved the ending to the first one. How it just suddenly stopped with absolutely no closure and having just spent the past hour fighting wave after wave of enemies and punching up an old man with super powers...
That was my one biggest gripe about the first game, the ending was an abomination.
If you're avoiding MGO because you don't want to spend 5 minutes setting up a user name and password (which you can do through the PS3 browser) then it's you who should be ashamed.
